Robust, functional and modular - GTi-ISO switchgear from Spelsberg reliably ensure the distribution of electrical energy. And thanks to the resistant polycarbonate, they are not only a corrosion-free alternative to sheet steel distributors, but also the right choice in harsh industrial and commercial environments. In combination with the modular and therefore customisable design, they met all the requirements that ACCUREC-Recycling GmbH also placed on a new distributor solution.
The Krefeld-based company, founded in 1995, is an expert in the field of battery recycling and relies on new technologies and maximum extraction of raw materials with minimum energy and material input. For many years, Accurec has relied on GTi systems from Spelsberg to power the electric ovens and the socket distributors within the factory hall. As part of a technical expansion from 630 A to 1250 A, the customer decided to build a completely new distributor. The requirements were clearly defined: Due to the area of application, a robust system with IP 65 and IK 08 was required, and future extensions or changes should also be easy to implement.
Based on the customer's requirements, the Spelsberg team developed a detailed, individual plan that took into account both the technically required connection conditions and aspects such as the installation of overvoltage protection and an extended distributor space for large conductor cross-sections of up to 300 mm². Many years of experience, flexible customisation options and regular personal interactions with the customer - whether on site or electronically - ensured the construction of a highly functional, ready-to-connect power distribution system, which does justice to ACCUREC-Recycling GmbH in terms of the use of modern and innovative technologies.
