Empty enclosures made from plastic and aluminium

Our plastic enclosures are made from polystyrene, ABS or glass-fibre reinforced polycarbonate. For special areas with enhanced requirements for resistance to certain chemicals, aluminium versions are also available. Depending on the product variant, our industrial housings are rated at IP65, IP66 or IP67 per DIN EN 60529, are also dust-tight and are protected against water jets as a minimum and if necessary even against temporary submersion. They are available in many sizes and can be selected with smooth or pre-punched metric break-out openings and modular tools. Alongside a large selection of accessories such as mounting plates, hinge sets and various different standardised mounting rails, we also offer customer-specific solutions for our standard products as an additional service.

Adaptations to suit individual customer desires

Because we combine all of the skills from development through prototyping, testing and certification and on to toolmaking and manufacturing, in one site, Spelsberg is particularly characterised by the individual processing of different housing solutions. In doing so, imprints for the covers as well as special surface coatings are likewise possible along with additional holes or threads – and this is even possible from small order quantities. Our special customising department is responsible for these adaptations and also for the construction of prototypes. Ask about our diverse customisation options in this area!

In-house VDE and UL-accredited test laboratory

As a company with many years of experience working with plastics and manufacturing housings, we also have technical electrical knowledge in the field of electrical installation materials. As a result we are able to carry out corresponding testing, not only in our in-house VDE and UL-accredited test laboratory, but also at the customers' premises. This accreditation assures you of a continuously and consistently high standard of quality for our products and services.

Practical CAD data as a download

Extensive technical data on dimensions, materials and further characteristics such as protection class and fire behaviour are listed on the individual product pages.
