Our new GEOS series is produced of high-grade polycarbonate. This makes the outdoor enclosures resistive to certain chemicals, provides for high UV- and weather-resistance and braves extreme temperatures.

The enclosures are designed in a way that they are corrosion-proof and withstand high impact energy as per IK09. Therefore, your components are always perfectly protected.

The new sealing principle "Drain Protect"

The special design of the GEOS enclosures provide for durable protection from penetrating moisture.

Moisture, e.g. rain or snow, is discharged by the widely overlapping cover and the drainage channel along the bottom side of the enclosure to the rear side. Additionally, an elastomer seal provides for optimum protection from environmental influences.

With this,  the enclosures of the GEOS series which have been optimised for the use in the most varied environments are suitable for highly demanding outdoor applications.

GEOS-S: Cabinets

The new GEOS-S series offers all the well-known advantages of the GEOS series such as the flexible modular system, test certificates also for international markets and robust material. Furthermore, they provide additional protection for the electrical and electronic components even in strong environments, for example in industrial and outdoor installations. The cabinets are designed to be particularly user-friendly.

The enclosure doors of the new GEOS-S cabinets from Spelsberg are available in grey, black or transparent design. The transparent design allows, for example, displays to be read, while control and signalling devices remain protected without affecting the technical properties. Otherwise usual mechanical reworking, e.g. for the installation of a viewing window, is thus completely unnecessary. Thanks to their large opening angle of more than 180°, the doors ensure unrestricted work on the open enclosure and good operability at the same time.

From built-in modules protected against contact to cabinet door step

The cabinets of the GEOS-S series can be retrofitted with the range of accessories from Spelsberg. For example, mounting plates in various sizes, standard rails and support frames are available for installing control or signaling devices. If the enclosure is to be subdivided, the partition walls are suitable for this purpose. 

  • Built-in modules protected against contact: can be mounted without tools and are safe against manipulation
  • Frame + door as a coherent assembly
  • Cabinet door step prevents unintentional slamming of the door with two fixed positions
  • Door contact switch is integrated in the frame and can be used for remote enquiries
  • LED interior lighting is integrated into the frame to illuminate the installation space 
  • Quick-change system for mounting rail frame and mounting plate 
  • Different installation heights possible for different sizes of switchgear and built-in devices
     

And the GEOS-S can do so much more!

The cabinets are just as flexible and safe as the empty enclosures. They are prepared for the innovative ventilation element BEL Air. This transports any condensate that occurs out of the enclosure in the shortest possible time by means of air exchange.  Thereby an IP protection of IP65 is preserved. The doors are lockable for increased security and prevent unauthorised opening. The cam lock mechanism does not require any additional earthing or sealing of active parts.

The new configurator allows our customers to plan and equip empty enclosures. The integrated configuration assistant takes you by the hand and guides you through the GEOS product range step by step. You can place accessories in GEOS empty enclosures and the new GEOS cabinets and combine them to your individual solution.

Further customization, such as drilling and milling are available.
